107 th message of 2010!

Already 31 December 2010 and my 107 th post in 2010 ... time goes so fast. I know I say this often but it's so true. The days pass so speeds and months fly by. It is now almost 6hpm. I just finished my nap and some coconuts are still asleep ... tonight we're Christmas Eve with your family in Bangalore. There are activities on the complex but we prefer to stay together ... it is a time of year a little special ... the last two years we spend Christmas at the seaside and it is unrealistic .. . but when we come back to Bangalore on New Year's Day, I find it a little more difficult ... but that's normal ... Pink and Mikael are traveling, Tony and Denise Montreal, Santosh and also Most expats to return to their country or while traveling ... We'll order pizza, dancing, playing board games and watch a movie .... this is our night! But we will be together all the 5!
For 2011, I am super happy ... a new year before us and we know it will still be rich in emotions, challenges and adventures and full of surprises ... First because we do not know yet what will happen! But we know that our Indian adventure ends ... we'll have to turn a page, closing a chapter in our life ... move on ... I think we'll have to live some grief. Life can sometimes be difficult here but if I look at my life here, I'm happy ... I feel I have grown through this adventure in India. I faced a great fear, fear of ridicule. I always thought that English and I was just lost but no. I am no longer size with children but I am very good progress. I put my fears of sides and I accepted the challenge, coming into this country abroad with my husband and our three children. I'm proud of myself. Proud to be daring, to integrated, making me friends and have my routine here. I look at 2010 and looks happy 2011 with hope and confidence.
I feel privileged to begin a new year, along with my three coconuts and my husband. I feel fortunate to live all these things in such good company. Expatriation makes you grow personally and in our case, we also much closer in time a couple. He is my friend, my confidant, the only one who understands me so much! I also feel privileged to have the support of our families and our circle of friends.
So I wish all family and friends, a great year 2011. This year could be for you, a good year on all fronts. Love, health, joy, happiness and fulfillment is what we hope for 2011.

It is almost 23h for us this Sunday evening ... I finish all my things and go to bed soon ... tomorrow morning will be to 4h30am lifted the body ... we leave at 5am to take the train Chennai for a week at the seaside! We're very excited. We return to the same place as last year ... being at the seashore at Christmas helps us forget that we are alone and on the other side of the world for this time of year where we are normally so good company .... hoping the weather is in there!

Tomorrow is the last journée d'école et d'examens avant les congés des fêtes...demain matin, ils auront un examen de Geographie pour Emma et Marie et Ben aura coloring...et tout de suite après, ils ont tous un petit party de noel dans leur classe...et bien maintenant que les enfants et profs ont gouté à mes biscuits aux chocolats...je reçois des demandes spéciales...Emma est revenue de l'école hier en me disant...S'il te plait maman, toute ma classe aimerait bien que tu fasses tes biscuits aux chocolats...Marie me regarde et dit...ça serait trops si moi aussi j'en apporte pour les deux classes de 3ième???

Bon, qu'est-ce que je fais...je leur dis que je vais voir ce que je peux faire...et que je dois voir si demain le four fonctionnera...comme vous le savez ici avec les pannes de courrant...alors ce matin, je fais ma liste et part à l'épicerie et je me dépêche à revenir a l'appartement...et commence a faire des biscuits...jusqu'à 3 heures (mon four est si petit que je peux faire cuire juste 12 biscuits à la fois)...j'ai fais 115 biscuits...30 pour la classe d'Emma, 60 pour les deux classes de troisième et la balance pour nous...JE SUIS PLUS CAPABLE DE VOIR DES BISCUITS!!! mais voir les filles si heureuses...me rend si heureuse!!!

À l'épicerie, il n'y has that kind of shortbread biscuits dry ... very good but not moeilleux cookies ... so my chocolate cookies to moeilleux desire are greatly appreciated! By the way, thank you Esther for putting this recipe on her blog!

Decisions, decisions!

We made our decision ... our Indian experience comes to an end after almost two years. We decided that the end of the school year would also be the end of our adventure spiced. The whole family is comfortable and happy with the decision. More details remain to be studied and planned, but since the holiday season fast approaching .... have to wait for more answers! So you have more details in mid or late January! In the meantime, we on our side will take the heat, spices, good food and everything we love this country .... before saying goodbye!

In India, this game is sometimes called Chaupar, Chaturanga or Ashtapadha. It seems that the rules of chess games is somewhat different modern rules of the original game which explains why there are not many Indian world champion!

Children Day

Sunday, November 14th was the Children Day. November 14 is the birthday of Nehru, a man who is one of India's freedom fighters. Cet homme était un grand ami de Ghandi. Nehru aimait beaucoup les enfants donc ils ont décidé de célébrer son anniversaire en dédiant cette journée aux enfants. Donc lundi matin, les enfants avaient le droit de porter des colours dress...pas d'uniforme mais ils devaient porter des vêtements indiens...c'était la fête lundi matin...les enfants étaient super heureux...les voici avant de partir!!!

The children attended the morning at a special meeting at the school or teachers danced for them and made special activities for Ben it was ... Games, Activities, songs and chocolates for the girls ... one day of class but much more relaxed!
