First Circuit minibus ended in joy with exploring the High Atlas and the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After all these people looking at the airport, an appointment for an unforgettable evening on the Jemaa el Fna. A good night in a nice hotel, we're ready for departure by minibus to a site of amethyst geodes, natural splendors shaped by years. After a descent into the ark of Imi-n-Ifri, here we visited an excellent tagine Ouzoud where heated on hot coals waiting for us. To digest a few steps to take us to the feet of fabulous waterfalls. A family of Barbary apes were also in the game. The evening ended in a hotel on the lake of Bin el Ouidane, work completed in 1955, up from 285 m which allows an impressive irrigation system and provide energy throughout the region. The next day, after a hearty breakfast, we walked along the Oued El Abid and gorges. Now the High Atlas is taking shape before us. A picnic on the banks of a lake of legend and clothing distribution between nomadic herders and Tislit Isli. The evening at the hotel a fresh smell of cuckoos invaded the dining room. A short walk into town was necessary then after the dinner gargantuan. After a good night's sleep, starting to follow the Wadi Ziz. A river has its source in the Saharan mountain switchbacks digging all over her bed, a narrow gap impressively decorated with palm groves and kasbah ksours. Reached the Tafilalt after flowering throughout the valley, the river disappears into the sand to Taouz near Merzouga, our stage today. An installation at the hostel and then a tour of the oasis was needed. On our return we dromedaries quietly waiting to take us to see a beautiful sunset in the Erg Chebbi. Only real dune field, this mass is 30 miles long and can rise over 170 m high. A panorama to the Algerian rock bars are one of the most famous performances of Morocco. On our return, my friend Lahcen we had prepared a crispy barbecue, the meat was cooked just right. A treat for our taste buds and admirers in turmoil. Much of the group had wanted to settle on the terrace for a fantastic night under the stars. A place equipped, ventilated and cool especially since it was still hot at this late hour. After a gentle wake-up the cock of the village and a sumptuous breakfast, we are all gone to visit a fossil workshop polishing. Parts scultées wonderfully unique by nature and worked by experienced hands. A photo stop to admire the rhéttaras, an ingenious irrigation system dug by men to bring water from the mountains the feet of their culture. Then we meandered along an endless ribbon of green digging her curves in universe rich in minerals and ammonites, a must for collectors. We went through a palette of colorful villages: Amellago, Assoul, Ait Hani and Tamtattouchte. Nearby, an exceptional beauty of nature, the Todra are extremely close to a parade limestone walls of impressive height.
Le bouche à oreilles sera our best advertisement.
