After an evening
rather quiet, we take the opportunity to make a visit to Cartagena in Chiva. So I do not know if we told you that was a Chiva. It is a sort of super wide bus with construction craft as a sign characteristic of many colors:). Admire the result on the first photo. 
This city is rich in history. Indeed it owes its name to the English who were the main port city of South America to bring the riches of the continent in Europe. Thus Cartagena soon attracted the envy of other pirates and mercenaries. Several times the city of Cartagena was sacked and burned the same. Following these attacks the city was heavily fortified castle with a number of which the most famous San Felipe de Barajas. 
During our tour guide explains how Chiva comprises geographically the city. There is a large island and a recess of water inland. There was inicial 2 passages for ships to reach the city, small and large mouth. 
The chiva brings us to a monastery called: Convento de la Popa offering a view over the city. We also spend the historical center with narrow streets of these in all colors.
We return to good douche parce que l'huminité et la chaleur sont un mélange plutot incomodant.
