Did you know?
There are 1600 years that there was a king who ruled the ancient kingdom of Magadha in the Ganges India. His name was Maharaja Ranvir. All the kings before him had no reputation as warriors. India was conquered often and not vice versa ... but during that time, King kept returning to an attack or a prepress. Much majoritée people did not like his attitude and was always a little tired of going to war especially his ministers. They decided to consult Anantha, a Brahmin (wise) who was famous for his maps astonomiques and mathematical calculations. The Prime Minister asked him to find a solution to help assuage the king's need to go to war! In India, this game is sometimes called Chaupar, Chaturanga or Ashtapadha. It seems that the rules of chess games is somewhat different modern rules of the original game which explains why there are not many Indian world champion!
I found it very interesting!

Children Day
Sunday, November 14th was the Children Day. November 14 is the birthday of Nehru, a man who is one of India's freedom fighters.

Diwali 2010
The weekend of November 5 to 7, it was Diwali or Christmas or the Indian festival of lights. It's a big party here in India and in some points, it looks like our Christmas. First, people are installing lights on the balconies and the interior lights small oil lamps, like mine on the photo or small candles that are placed everywhere, on balconies, close doors Second entries ... people give sweets. We received two families of the complex. Third, people buy fireworks ... so for three days, almost constantly, there is noise ... and fourth everyone put on his 36!
Here is our weekend photos!
On Saturday evening we were invited by our friends Michael and Rose for a celebration of Diwali ... the guys had to wear the Kurta and mustache (true or false) and the girls sari ...
Children with''uncle''to the big and fake mustache!
The Caron family ... Bob had cut his beard mimimum for the feel of mustache!
