Cocktail Napkins With Funny Sayings

Flashback! Green chili

Namaskara,
few activities were held in October but also leave more time to write so I missed! I offer a brief review of some blogs for you to update!
During the month of October the children had two weeks off for a festival called Dasara. Dasara is a major festival in southern India and celebrated significantly in Mysore in Karnataka state (our state). Wholesale Dasara, is the victory of good over evil. During these two weeks of festival, full of pooja (prayers and offerings) to anything that is a utilitée! On Saturday, October 16, we were invited, as last year, to participate in the pooja for the car. All drivers have been summoned by the boss and together they made pooja on any cars. A rallying point but also for them, it's all so seriously. In doing so, they ensure that the car will be, and we protected during the next year. The cars are decorated with flowers, after the marks are made on, they put lemons in tires, smashing melons ... a ritual, a little intriguing for us to watch!

Here are pictures of our day ... Emma had been sick during the night so she was not well that day and Benjamin was not so interested in all this so long it was for them!

As tire
following closely these famous brands ...
Subsequently, they put a little flame on the ground after running all around the car ...
A little lemon is placed under each wheel and a piece of melon and then they must be crushed by rolling over ...

They always end by putting in a big melon and it is launched on the ground. Poor children in the neighborhood are happy to reap the slot inside!

Some smiles encountered during the day!

The three girls in front of our car!

Abdul, our driver with Marie Coquinettes!
So for less than a month, our car is now under the protection! Since we have the car, it's almost never happened ... but then Saturday, we had a motorcycle crash into the side ... leaving beautiful marks. Abdul was not so happy ... the week before, he also hooked on the bumper beam of the parking lot and a few days after the door of the bag on the other beam ... after it repaired much of the Saturday's hanging, Abdul's car parked in the street to go on an errand and when he returned someone had hooked up again on the same side which vennait be repaired ... so he bought a large garland of flowers and I think that pooja has been redone ... maybe this time it'll work!
