Namaste
believe me, I'm not trying to beat the record for the longest time of absence on my blog! But I confess it's been a while. I had so much to catch up after Christmas and with few holidays, I have no time ... I just realized that I was still in the camera pictures of the new year .... so I'll try soon to put you some photos of our trip to Mamalapuram.
But this morning, here are some photos in our activities Most Recent!
After playing much cricket during the holidays, the family Caron is putting in boxing .... we sometimes crying hard but it never quite long! Who wishes to challenge us?
Emma had a school project, that of a satellite to the launch ... we believe in the universe and perhaps soon we will have a Direct communication with our family and friends ... to see it!
and finally ... our driver, who is also very good with our children, we cooked an Indian meal Biryani ... my favorite ... it's not hers that's in the picture but it looked a bit like that .... it's a well-seasoned rice and chicken ... ours was when I saw all the ingredients, I realized why Indian recipes are so tasty and delicious ... we are far from the salt and parsley in our rice! Here are some ingredients ...
tumeric powder, garlic and ginger paste, cinnamon stick, three kind of grass leaves (Coriander, Methi Pudina and I do not know ... French names!), nailed to the Cloves, onion, tomato, green chili, red chili pourdre, lemon curd (yogurt), Kesar, squeaker, rice ... it is an explosion of flavor ... Abdul has a green chili and a big spoon of chili powder but for us it was limited ... and for children too hard ... but he, his mother usually put 7 more chili powder, chili ... . oh my! I made a raita (yogurt and cucumber) and Bhagya helped me redo Jamoon (small brown balls in syrup). We had a royal feast ... we still remain ... for another dinner at least!
So we're way: do whatever we want to do before you go and learn all that we want to learn before leaving this country and some recipes are in my priorities! I'm going to try soon but I'm going alone plannifier on a Saturday because the rice takes at least two hours of preparations .... Indians spend a lot of time in the kitchen ...
So on that note, we wish you a good day!
